I design moments of clarity-where systems step back, and human experience comes forward.
With a background in fine arts and years in architectural concept design,
I tackle problems with logic, empathy and creativity.

A selection of projects that reflects my approach to interation, systems thinking, and visual storytelling.
What if motion could speak to the screen?
How might simple actions create meaningful responses?
Can presure become a form of artistic expression?
This project explores how simple physical actions can generate meaningful digital and physical responses.
Using an Arduino-based system, touch and sound inputs are translated into light and audio feedback in real time.
The goal is to understand how minimal interactions can create a sense of responsiveness, connection, and engagement.
This project explores whether physical pressure can become a form of artistic expression.
Using a pressure-sensitive interface, variations in force are translated into dynamic light and visual projections in real time.
The system transforms subtle physical input into an immersive sensory experience, turning touch into a medium for expression.
Driven by my interest in physical interaction, I explored sensor applications and the integration of hardware and software.
I volunteer at a Bay Area farm on weekends, finding balance through giving back to the community.
Back in 2025, when I graduated from California College of the Arts with a Master’s degree in Interaction Design.
My painting was selected for the Anhui Art Exhibition, reflecting my ongoing practice of observing and expressing the world through art. The photo with my father in front of my work marks a moment of support and a journey of continued artistic exploration.
01 A collection of visual works exploring emotion, intuition, and personal perception -created without a predefined function or cutcome.
02 Conceptual exhibition on proposals exploring how space, movement, and narrative shape collective experience.
03 Explorations into how time, rhythm, and narrative can be designed as systems— shaping how peop e experience relationships, spaces, and interactions.
Yue liu Interaction & Product Designer
Through experience in built projects, I explore human centered design across space and experience. I'm interested in how design can support how people live, move, and interact. The followin work was developed during my time at a design institute and has been implemented in real-world contexts.
I am a designer with a background in fine arts and several years of experience as an architectural concept designer.
I began my journey in fine arts, where I developed strong visual sensitivity and creative thinking. Working in architectural studios later shaped my understanding of systems, structure, and how ideas translate into real-world form. Over time, I became increasingly interested in designing experiences that go beyond space—focusing on interaction, clarity, and how people engage with systems.
Now, as an interaction-focused designer, I bring together visual expression, spatial thinking, and conceptual rigor to create experiences that are thoughtful, clear, and human-centered.
Graduated with a Master of Interaction Design from California College of the Arts (CCA), 2025.
